Rising Readers and Writers Academy
Our Rising Readers & Writers Academy is designed for Kindergarten and 1st grade students who are ready to strengthen their reading and writing skills in a fun, engaging summer setting. Through small-group instruction, hands-on literacy activities, and creative writing projects, students build confidence in phonics, fluency, comprehension, and written expression. Our phonics instruction focuses on strengthening letter-sound relationships, blending and segmenting sounds, decoding words, and applying phonics skills to real reading and writing experiences, helping students become more confident, independent readers and writers while collaborating with peers and developing a genuine love of literacy.

Kindergarten Reading/Writing
The goal of this program is to help students develop skills needed to become better readers. Level Up Academy does not take a one-size-fits-all approach, we create lessons based on each child’s needs. The curriculum will include reading books, writing stories, learning spelling patterns and of course, playing educational games.
During each class the students with be given the opportunity to strengthen their reading skills. Phonemic awareness, encoding, decoding and reading comprehension will be incorporated into each lesson. Building confidence in our readers is a priority.

Kindergarten Math
Young learners will embark on a fun-filled journey through the world of numbers! This interactive program uses engaging activities, games, and hands-on experiments to introduce essential math concepts such as counting, addition, subtraction, and shapes. Our experienced instructors create a supportive and stimulating environment that fosters curiosity and confidence in math skills. Through playful learning and group collaboration, children will develop a strong foundation in math while making new friends.

Jump Into Reading! Bootcamp (K-1)
Join us for an engaging and supportive reading bootcamp designed to help young learners build strong foundational skills and confidence. In this small-group setting, students will develop phonemic awareness, strengthen decoding skills, and begin building reading fluency through structured, teacher-guided instruction.
Using a Wilson-aligned approach, students will practice sound tapping, segmenting, and blending while also working toward mastery of high-frequency words. Each day is thoughtfully designed to meet students where they are and help them grow at their own pace.
This camp is perfect for students who are beginning their reading journey or would benefit from extra support before the school year begins.

Pre-Reading Bootcamp
Our Pre-Reading Bootcamp is designed to give incoming kindergarteners a strong and confident start to their reading journey. Through a hands-on and interactive approach, students will build essential phonemic awareness skills, including rhyming, segmenting, and isolating sounds.
Students will also work on letter-sound mastery and begin early blending in a fun and supportive environment. Lessons are brought to life through sound games, movement-based activities, and hands-on manipulatives that keep young learners engaged while building critical early literacy skills.
This camp is a great fit for students who are just beginning to explore letters and sounds or would benefit from a strong foundation before entering kindergarten.

Sight Words & Phonics Bootcamp (K-1)
This focused literacy camp is designed to help students build confidence and automaticity in their reading. Through a combination of phonics instruction and sight word practice, students will strengthen their ability to recognize and read words with ease.
Students will work with “heart words,” practice reading decodable texts, and engage in activities that promote fluency and comprehension. With consistent, structured practice in a small-group setting, students will leave feeling more confident and capable as readers.
This camp is ideal for students who know many letter sounds but need support becoming more fluent and automatic in their reading.

Kindergarten Bootcamps
These highly popular classes review skills your child learned this past school year. We will also introduce a variety of new concepts they will encounter at the beginning of the school year. We use the state standards and nearby school districts’ pacing guides to plan the curriculum that is taught in class.
