5th/6th Grade Reading
This class is designed to strengthen reading and writing skills for their grade level. We will review key concepts in Language Arts to help prepare them for the school year and upcoming fall assessments. Writer’s Workshop will also be a part of each week. This piece is designed to foster creativity, self-expression, and excitement about writing.

Lunch Bunch Add-on: $75 (stay until 11:30am with your lunch)
5th/6th Grade Math
These classes are designed to help your child master the math skills appropriate for their grade level. The first week of class will consist of a review of the previous year’s standards and then dive into the upcoming year’s concepts. This class is individualized and tailored to fit each child’s needs. Hands on learning and playing games are essential!

D181 Math Bridge Support
6th Grade Advanced & Accelerated
This class is offered to students participating in D181’s summer bridge program. This class will meet twice a week. Classes at most will be 6:1 student/teacher ratio. Students will review topics presented in their classes as well as move ahead to other topics that will be taught during the course this summer. Classes will be in person at Level Up. Both classes will be taught by different teachers so students can have the teacher’s undivided attention.

Let’s Get Ready for Middle School!
The transition from fifth to sixth grade is challenging and our middle school specialists are here to help your child. Students will be introduced to the Claim, Evidence, Reading (CER) writing process, executive functioning skills, test taking strategies and practice combination locks. They will also participate in group discussions, with former middle school students, regarding any questions they have about entering middle school. This class is designed to help your child begin the school year with confidence.

Back-to-School Bootcamp
These highly popular classes review skills your child learned this past school year. We will also introduce a variety of new concepts they will encounter at the beginning of the school year. We use the state standards and nearby school districts’ pacing guides to plan the curriculum that is taught in class.
